Review of Grands Home Style Buttermilk Biscuits

Grands Versus My Regular Store Brand

Daisy May
Since I always want to spend wisely, I usually buy the store brand biscuits and haven't really felt that I was missing out on anything. That changed when the store was out of the cheap biscuits and I was forced to buy Grands Home Style Buttermilk Biscuits. I am glad that I did try something new.

The directions were simple. Take off the package's outer wrapping. Open the package by pressing a spoon at the seam. Set the Grands biscuits on the cookie sheet at least one to two inches apart and bake in a 350 degree oven for 13 to 17 minutes or until done. Tip: It is easy to open a package of biscuits by smacking the package seam along a counter or table top.

I noticed first off when I opened the Grands package that the biscuits were better quality. The preformed biscuit dough was not misshaped or stuffed in the package sideways. The dough had a different consistency and texture. It was very easy to simply pull the biscuit dough apart and set each one on the cookie sheet.

I was very happy when I pulled out the cookie sheet full of big buttermilk biscuits. The Grands Home Style Buttermilk Biscuits were big and beautiful. The color was perfect and they felt soft. The package claimed that Grands biscuits were larger than the competitor's biscuits. That might be true but I'm not sure. I think the size of the Wal-mart brand biscuits are about the same size as the Grands biscuits.

Everyone was happy with the taste and texture of the Grands Home Style Buttermilk Biscuits. The tasted much better than the cheaper biscuits that I usually bought. Even after storing a few of the Grands Home Style Buttermilk Biscuits in a lidded bowl for a couple days, the biscuits were fresh and soft and being ate instead of trashed.

One package of Grands biscuits held eight biscuits. I paid somewhere around two dollars for the Grands Home Style Buttermilk Biscuits at Wal-mart. I know it was a few cents more than the store brand. Grands is a brand that can be bought at most quality grocery stores.

I would definitely recommend Grands Home Style Buttermilk Biscuits to every one. This is a great product that is worth paying the extra change for. Since I don't have to throw out the biscuits after one day I will probably save money. I cannot think of a single bad thing about Grands Home Style Buttermilk Biscuits.
