The product gives you a very light shimmer in four different shades - gold tone ones and two silver tone ones. I chose Topaz, which is a gold tone with a slightly-copper tint. I'd already researched this products, so I was prepared for its oily base. But, I didn't expect that it would also be moisturizing. It contains jojoba oil and olive oil along with some other ingredients that seem to lighten the oily effect.
For some reason, I was expecting a scent. The product does not indicate a scent nor does it say that it is unscented anywhere I could easily read it. The only discernible scent is something like plain oil. This product might be a good choice for people who are sensitive to perfumes.
Not only does the product moisturize, but the glitter stays put very well. Even if you apply it and go to bed, when you wake up the next morning the very fine glitter is still on your skin. This means it isn't going to make a mess by coming off on your clothes or someone else's, which can be a problem with body glitters. It doesn't really come off until it is washed off.
While this product isn't exactly what I was expecting, I like it and I would purchase it, again. I like its moisturizing power, the glittery effect and its staying power. At only $8 for a 1.7 Oz. bottle, you can stay trendy while spending within your budget.
