Review of Harvey's at Lake Tahoe

I've been to lake Tahoe once and I loved it. I went with my parents and brother eight years ago and have been eager to go back since. We only stayed for two days, it was a time I'm never going to forget. For me one of the most memorable parts was the drive up the steep treacherous mountainside. We stayed during the spring time, so there was some snow in the lower altitudes, but the weather was magnificent. The lake is beautiful and quite a sight to see. Lake Tahoe also has beautiful clear blue sky's that are absolutely breathtaking. Lake Tahoe has everything for the whole family including gambling, skiing, sledding, fishing, sight seeing, or just laying around and relaxing. You'll never be bored at Lake Tahoe with all the choices of activities it offers. Tahoe also has some beautiful wildlife especially in the spring and summer seasons. Tahoe has all kinds of animals from deer to rabbits to moose. Tahoe is tranquil and relaxing any time of year, and is a great vacation spot the whole family can love. Each view is a postcard and contains some of Mother Nature's finest work. Lake Tahoe has many world-class ski resorts, but I believe my mom made the perfect choice for us.

When my family and I visited Lake Tahoe we stayed at a place called Harvey's a mile past the Nevada state border line. It's a resort and casino which is family oriented. Harvey's is a classy place and the nicest place I've ever stayed at on any trip. There are shops, casino's, restaurants and even an arcade for the kids. They even have a gym where the whole family can work out at. Not only is it a good place for your skiing trip, but they also do weddings and receptions. Of coarse Harvey's also provides other winter activities such as snow mobiling and snow shoeing. Being a resort, Harvey's provides special discount packages as well. The atmosphere is friendly and everyone is relaxed and at ease. The rooms are very spacious, so you don't have to worry about being cramped. It can be fairly expensive depending on the room you pick, but if you go in the off-season they'll give you a great rate. Harvey's is a five star resort, but it's well worth the money and is a must stay. If you're tired of Mickey and Minnie, Harvey's at Lake Tahoe is perfect for you.
