Review: Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Shampoo and Conditioner
It had come to a point where something needed to be done. I had to find products that would help my hair remain straight and calm, or I would have to make the decision to cut it. And then the day came. My husband, being the kind man that he is, went out and splurged on a few things to help me feel better about my hair being so out of control. He came across a shampoo by Herbal Essences called Dangerously Straight. I tried it for the first time that night, and I honestly don't know how I lasted so long without it. Due to the fact that my hair is thick, I have trouble straightening it, and some shampoos do more damage than good. I often find myself using shampoos that actually make my hair feel dry and rough. This shampoo was the complete opposite!
So, I put the shampoo on my head for the first time, and began to lather. Not only did this shampoo lather instantly, but I noticed an immediate difference in the way that my hair felt. It felt extremely smooth, almost as if I was using conditioner. After washing my hair once, rinsing and shampooing again as recommended, I then used the conditioner. Just when I thought my hair couldn't get any softer, it did.
Unlike other shampoos I had tried, the softness lasted, and I noticed a big difference when styling my hair. It was extremely easy to straighten, and also smelled amazing, as many other Herbal Essences products do! The proof was when I had a few people comment on what perfume I was wearing.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has thick, uneasy hair. Herbal Essences is worth every penny spent, but most importantly, it's reasonably priced. I often purchase this shampoo and conditioner for $2.50 each. If you look on the shelves of your local grocery store, you will notice that most shampoos that are lower quality are priced higher.

Post a Commenti tried this product out and if u want to look professionaly straightened you need to buy the conditoiner and shampoo... if u dont buy both your hair will look like a TOTAL MESS !!! :)
I am african american and I used the dangerously straight shampoo and i did notice that it was straighter when i got out of the shower my hair didn't curl up while it was air drying like it usually does. I think this is a great product when i get don't straightening my hair it doesn't smell like heat so I really like it and it comes at a great price.
this stuff is SOOO great! for all those who say the con is that it doesn't straighten your hair just by using the shampoo..well of course not but it helps even ALOT more if you get the CONDITIONER too. duh! that's the best part lol

yes it works in humidity!!! and i absolutely love it ! i think the whole world should try this shampoo and instead of wasting 50 dollars on shampoo this works the best for evryone
I just used the Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight shampoo and conditioner... it did not make my hair completely straight, but it made my hair have bounce and shine. It doesn't seem to make hair straight just by the shampoo, but it makes the flat iron do a better job. Also the fragrance is very nice and fruity. This product gets the tangles and knots right out of your head. Overall, I think this was a good product even though it didn't do what was written on the bottle!
I love this stuff. It works so well. randi, if you get none of your frizzness it will probably work un humidity.
I used this shampoo for the first time and it is absolutely amazing! I used to have naturally straight hair, but its been getting wavy ever since last year. This shampoo works wonders! It made my hair amazingly smooth, luscious, and straight! I would recommend it to people with Straight - Wavy hair.
what about humidity??? i live in alabama and while in winter time it isn't that bad, in the summer you need a snorkel to go outside!! lol i have long, wavy hair too and in the summer all i can do is a pony tail... does this shampoo work well in humidity?
