Game Background

The previous game, Hobo, left the protagonist happily in prison. Now, our hobo hero is ready for another brawl!

Controls

Press A to punch and pick objects up.
Press S to kick and do other moves.
Use arrow keys to move around. Double-tap to run in that direction.
Press P to pause the game and view your skill combos.

Gameplay

The object of the game is to beat up everyone that you see. Most enemies will fight back to varying degrees. There are three levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal, and Hard. As you progress through the game, you will pick up different abilities. The abilities that you can perform are seen when you pause the game by pressing P. There are a total of 9 skills, 6 of which are usable right at the start, with the remaining 3 unlockable. Also, as you progress through the game, you will obtain passwords at various checkpoints that you can input at the start of the game to jump straight to the corresponding checkpoint. Your health bar is displayed at the top-left of the screen. As you attack enemies, their health bars will appear at the top-right. During the game, you can attack enemies using your skills. You can also find objects laying around that you can pick up and use to attack your enemies.

Game Review

Hobo Prison Brawl is your average fighting/action game. Its uniqueness comes from the bathroom-themed fighting i.e. the use of bodily fluids and feces as special combo moves to attack. Other than that, there is nothing spectacular about this game. Also, the game has glitches that the game author is currently trying to remedy. When these changes are added, the game should continue smoothly. Even so, this won't add to the dullness and repetitiveness of the game. It is, however, a good game for people who just need a little break and wish to fight prisoners as a hobo.

Hobo Prison Brawl scores a 4/10. A more interesting storyline and gameplay would help this game greatly.
