The hotel features indoor corridors and several two and three story buildings. Our second floor room was nicely furnished, consisting of two double beds, a desk, and a table with two chairs. The beds were extremely comfortable, and instead of the standard hotel bedspread, each bed had a soft blanket draped across it. The room also came equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, and a coffee maker. In addition, all the rooms have a balcony or patio. Some rooms on the second floor-including ours-have a great view of the ocean.
Although I did not use the pool, it was large, with plenty of chairs to accommodate a number of sun worshippers. The lobby was also pleasant and offered an array of coffees 24 hours a day, plus, a continental breakfast serving pastries, eggs, bacon, cereal, and French toast available every day until 10:30 AM. The hotel also provides a private office off of the lobby with a computer for guest use. There are numerous restaurants in the area, including the Juno Beach Fish House which is located on the property, and there are a few small stores within walking distance.
Several members of the staff were very accommodating during our stay and happily provided us with extra blankets and sheets when we requested these items. The housekeeping staff was also pleasant when we declined housekeeping services, but asked for towels and toiletries.
Additionally, this hotel is one of the few in the area that accepts large dogs. There is a $10 per night pet fee, but they do not charge a deposit. Our dogs were very content in the room--they enjoyed looking out of the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and there is plenty of grass on the property for walks.
The only complaint I had with the hotel was my inability to connect to the internet on my laptop. The hotel lists high speed internet access as an amenity, but unfortunately, after trying unsuccessfully to connect for an hour, I was informed that the building we were staying in did not have internet access. Otherwise, I found the hotel exceptionally nice. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the South Florida area, and I know that I will not stay anywhere else in the future.
