On Wednesday November 15, 2006, myself and 2 guests went to eat at the Hooters Restaurant on 4948 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216. When we arrived we were seated promptly, and with a smile and a thank you. We were told our waitress would be right with us, and as soon as she turned around to leave our waitress was there to greet us. She was always smiling and friendly. She took our drink orders and said she'd be right back. It only took her a few minutes to get our drinks and return to the table.

When we decided to order and she was very happy to take our order. Guest one ordered the unlimited chicken wings they have on Wednesday nights for $8.99. I ordered the steamed shrimp and a side of curly fries with cheese sauce. Guest one and I planned on sharing our dinners with each other. Guest two ordered the Chicken sandwich and a side of fries and cheese sauce. I also asked the waitress to bring one of the new Hooters calendars, they were on sale for $9.99 and I thought that was a good price. I figured I'd find somebody to give it too.

She brought the calendar over almost immediately and asked if I wanted the girls to sign it and I said sure. While we were waiting for our food we looked around the restaurant. Most Hooters restaurants you go to the girls are so stick skinny, it almost makes you not want to eat the food. Well here they were different. They had one girl who was pregnant, she was the hostess. Most of the rest were at a very healthy weight, but there were a few that were borderline of if they should even be wearing the shorts, our waitress included. All the girls were very nice and that out weighed the weight issue more to me as a customer.

Our food arrived very fast, for as many people as there were in the place. She sat down our food and it was all there and everything looked great! We started to eat, but the food looked better then it tasted. Now this is all a matter of opinion but the wings were dry but extremely hot so we knew they were fresh. The fries were really good and hot too. My shrimp didn't have any seasoning on it but the cocktail sauce was excellent. Guest number two's Chicken sandwich was the real only problem. It was hard and had no flavor. He said it tasted like it was under the warmer to long.

All in all it was a good experience. When we were getting ready to leave she brought me the calendar with the girls' signatures there. They did a really good job. While we were waiting for our change I flipped threw the calendar and it was very well put together. There was probably one girl from every Hooters restaurant in there. Guest number one and I are from the same little small town in Florida and we had a Hooters Restaurant there and we were shocked to see a girl from our hometown restaurant. We didn't know her, but it was good they included even small towns too. Once we got our change we got up to leave, and on the way out we were told good bye, thank you and to please come again by at least four different people.

This restaurant gets a very good rating from me. They were clean, fast and very friendly. I haven't had this good of service in a really long time.
