I am a fan of beef vegetable soup. When I came across a Hormel Beef Vegetable Soup Cup, in the soups section of my local Rite Aid drug store, I was delighted. This item was on sale. I decided to purchase it, try it out and write a product review all about my personal experience with it. This is what I discovered!
One Hormel Beef Vegetable Soup Cup was only one dollar. Not a bad price. This soup cup is quite small. It is microwave friendly. A fun combination of ingredients are in this soup, I discovered. Macaroni noodles, carrots, beef, potatoes, corn, green beans, onions, parsley and even prime beef tips flavor. I could not wait to taste this soup. At only 90 calories, it is diet friendly and I appreciated that fact. The container has a re sealable plastic lid and it also has an easy open metal lid. I opened, stirred, replaced the plastic lid, microwaved for a minute, uncovered, stirred well and served. This soup smelled delicious and it looked great. When I tasted it, I was won over. Lots of rich tasting beef broth, lots of veggies and beef. The potatoes are in large chunks and yummy. The macaroni noodles made this soup unique, in my opinion. This dish is hearty and filling. It is easy to prepare and creative. Lots of vitamin A in this one.
I rate Hormel Beef Vegetable Soup Cup four stars out of five stars. The portion is small. I have to admit that I wanted a bit more of this soup. That is a nice thing. A good product. I love many Hormel brand food products and this is one of them. One serving of this soup has 90 calories. Only 10 of those calories are from fat. Awesome! One serving has just 1 gram of total fat, 0 grams of saturated fat, yay, 0 grams of trans fat, 10 mg's of cholesterol, 790 mg's of sodium, 16 grams of total carbs, 1 gram of dietary fiber, 3 grams of sugars and 6 grams of protein. This soup tasted great and it could use a little less sodium. I enjoyed trying this product and writing a review about it. It is a winner. A fun and quick lunch item.
