The HP Company is known as one of the leading manufacturers of notebooks in the global market. The company has added more to their category of notebooks, which includes the introduction of 12 inch notebook. The introduction of the HP TouchSmart tx2 has proven its capability and efficiency. The HP TouchSmart tx2 notebook has a lot of fascinating features that would blow the mind of every enthusiastic procurer around the globe. Some of the features found in the device include a 12.1" WXGA High-Definition HP LED BrightView Widescreen that has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, 4GB DDR2 System Memory, 400GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive, Integrated Touch-screen and much more.

One of the good feat ures about the design of the device is that a procurer could rotate the screen for about 180 degrees. Some new technology that include a touchscreen with the used of a digital pen is also support by the HP TouchSmart tx2 notebook. The surface of the device is equipped with an HP Imprint finish, which is quite handy and beautiful. But the quibble a procurer would found about the Imprint finish used in designing the surface is that it attracts a procurer's fingerprint. The device is equipped with a dimension of 8.82 x 12.05 x 1.23/ 1.52 inch that has a weight of 4.65 lbs.

The HP Company equipped the TouchSmart tx2 notebook with a screen of 12.1 inch that has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It is quite obvious that the horizontal viewing angle of the device is quite favorable when compare to the vertical angle. When tested it was very difficult to read information or data directly in sunlight situation.

There are a lot of ports that would be handy to a procurer supported by the TouchSmart tx2 notebook. Some of the ports a procurer would see in the TouchSmart tx2 notebook are: ExpressCard/34 slot, Microphone in, two headphone/audio out ports, 1 Expansion Port 3 Docking Station Connector, 1 modem port, 1 RJ-45 (LAN), 1 VGA, Kensington lock slot and 3 USB 2.0 port.

In my own opinion the TouchSmart tx2 notebook is equipped with an average performance processor, which is quite handy. The processor the device is equipped with is suitable to play low performing games and some other graphical features. The TouchSmart tx2 notebook is equipped with a 2.1GHz Turion X2 RM-72 dual-core processor.

The device is also equipped with wPrime program, which makes it possible for the system to use the dual cores simultaneously. In terms of performance when it is compared to the Lenovo ThinkPad X200 notebook one would find out that the SmartTouch tx2 notebook is quite superior. This is because the Lenovo ThinkPad X200 notebook is equipped with a Core 2 Duo ULV @ 1.86GHz processor, which is quite lesser than that of the TouchSmart tx2 notebook.

The keys featured in the TouchSmart tx2 is very soft when it is press. So a procurer does not need to apply force or more tension when pressing the keys. The keyboard has an excellent travel and cushion. The keys featured in the device is wrapped with Imprint Finish by the HP Company, which makes the keys to stay longer.

The lid of the palm rest rest is equipped with the Imprint Finish.

A procurer would benefit more from the TouchSmart tx2 when it is purchased and used. Check your local shop for adequate pricing.
