First, let's talk about the sound quality. The only chorus pedal I've ever heard that tops this one is the TC Electronic Stereo Chorus Flanger. That unit is two hundred more dollars, though. So if you're on a budget, this pedal definitely comes close.
This pedal is extremely durable and can withstand nearly anything you do to it. The switches themselves are also very durable, and the fact that the switches can sink into the pedal make it nearly impossible to actually damage the switches.
The pedal itself has several parameters to change. It has four basic knobs. Speed, depth, delay, and regen. These work like any other chorus pedal. The knobs are extremely sensitive, but this is actually welcome because you can sink the switches into the pedal preventing them from being changed by accident. Everything here works as intended and sounds wonderful. One bad thing, however, is the best chorus settings are almost never the best flanger settings. As this pedal has no memory function, you're stuck using either the chorus or flanger unless you change the settings. Not a huge problem, but if you're looking for a single pedal to be your chorus and flanger you need to consider that.
The only other switch besides those is the ''krazy'' switch. It has two modes: normal and wack'd. The wack'd mode is what you'd believe, totally crazy and pretty much unusable for most kinds of music. Still though, that option is nice and the sounds are so out there it doesn't really matter what your settings are. So using this mode on the fly is feasible, if for some reason you found a use for it.
Now we come to my absolute favorite feature of this pedal. It has two outputs, so it sends two either wet or dry signals out to two amplifiers. If you aren't going to play with a chorus pedal this way, then you shouldn't even bother. Any chorus pedal sounds two hundred times better with two outputs.
This pedal is an absolute and total steal at sixty dollars. If you have three hundred dollars, get the TC electronic chorus as that's really the holy grail of chorus. Other than that, choose this pedal. Pick one up today!
