Review: I'm in the Mood for Scrub Foaming Body Buff by True Blue Spa
This Bath and Body Works Product Keeps My Skin Soft and Smooth, but It's a Little Expensive
This scrub is made up of foaming body buff with Shea butter beads. Basically it's like a bath gel but with these little exfoliator beads throughout. The body buff part of it makes it so it's easy to spread on and gives you the feeling of a bath gel. Then the beads part of it feels like tiny particles that are scrubbing away at your skin. This combination gives us a product that is easy to apply and actually cleans very well! With just one little squirt, all of these tiny beads feel like they are really getting at the dirt, dry skin and sweat you may have after a long day. While the exfoliators get your skin clean, the other parts of the product are moisturizing so you don't even need to use lotion after every shower.
If you like a fresh, strong smell in your shower, this is the product for you. It's invigorating and can give you a second energy while you shower. The smell is not long lasting, which is fine with me because then I can use my other perfumes and lotions after the shower without any conflicts. The smell is just enough to help you enjoy your shower without sticking on you all day.
The only downside with this scrub is the price! It costs $20 for a 16 oz bottle. Depending on how fast you go through bath gels, this could be quite a pricey investment over time. The alternative solution is to use this only once a week or bi-weekly. Mix it in with your regular bath products and only use it when you feel the need for a good scrub! I've been using this bottle every day, but now that I know the price I'm going to start using it less often. When the gift bottle I received runs out, I plan to run up to Bath and Body Works for another bottle. It's the type of thing I will always want on my shelf for those particularly long days. Look for coupons or sales and you might get a good deal.
Overall if you're in the mood for a scrub, you can't do much better than I'm in the Mood for Scrubâ„¢ Foaming Body Buff With Shea Butter Beads by True Blue Spa. It gives you the scrubbing power along with the moisturizing power to keep your skin feeling clean and smooth for days. Summer time is a great time to try this product because it's awesome after you've been working on the garden, playing outdoor sports, or doing all those other fun summer activities. This scrub will wash all that dirt and sweat right off of you! Enjoy!!
