Review of the Imaginarium Medieval Castle

Yvonne Cote
If you are looking for a fun activity to keep your children occupied, getting them the Imaginarium Medieval Castle is a great idea. A refreshing change from today's high-tech toys and gadgets, the Imaginarium Medieval Castle presents kids with good ol' fashioned fun by giving them a project wherein they have to build a Medieval Castle from crafted and painted wooden pieces. The Imaginarium Medieval Castle definitely requires adult assistance in assembling, so get ready to take a few hours off to devote exclusively to setting up the Imaginarium Medieval Castle. Although its assembly is easy enough, I get obsessive compulsive when it comes to getting the pieces and total look right, which is probably why we took long in assembling our Imaginarium Medieval Castle.

The Imaginarium Medieval Castle measures forty-one inches long by thirty one inches wide and forty six inches in height. The Imaginarium Medieval Castle consists of, as I said earlier crafted and painted wooden pieces, forty of which are silkscreened. The Imaginarium Medieval Castle is the perfect starting point to the entire Imaginarium Medieval toy collection. The Imaginarium Medieval Castle does not include any figurines, as you have to buy those separately. It does include though a working drawbridge, doors, a siege tower and a battering ram. The Imaginarium Medieval Castle is of excellent quality. Although it may not look so impressive, the wooden silk-screened pieces are very sturdy and the paint will not just scratch or wear off. Trust me, my kids have already tried removing the paint (do not ask why) and the paint stayed intact.

The Imaginarium Medieval Castle presents kids with a lot of fun things to do, and is a great imagination sparker as well. You do not necessarily have to get Imaginarium figurines to have to play with this set. With just a little bit of imagination, any boy or girl figurine can turn into a Medieval Lord and Lady. I love watching my kids play with their Imaginarium Medieval Castle because they often put on fake British accents, which is such a hoot to listen to. The only downside I guess is that when you lay the Imaginarium Medieval Castle on the floor, your kids have to lie down on their bellies just to play with the Imaginarium Medieval Castle. Perhaps placing the Imaginarium Medieval Castle on a table top would be a better idea. The Imaginarium Medieval Castle is an imposing structure presenting hours of pretend play for your children. Enjoy!

Do you have a way to scan the assembly instructions and email them to me? UGGHHH, I can't find the instructions and we took it apart!
