Review of IMtranslator

Easily Translate Words Via This Program

Laura Hickey
More and more it's suggested that we learn a second language in life. While learning you may want to chat with others who natively speak the language you're learning. This at times can be difficult when you don't want to keep opening a webpage to enter certain words from the chat that you don't understand. An easier way to translate words is the IMtranslator.

This piece of software is not only free but can translate many languages to help for whatever you're learning. You download the software from the official website http://www.paralink.com/ims/ and install it. After you must be connected to the Internet at all times to use this program. Once connected you can enter words and instantly have them translated. Say you're in the middle of a conversation with someone who speaks Espanol and you don't understand the sentence. You easily can copy and paste the text into the application box and have it translated within seconds. Then you can write new text and have it translated from many languages into Espanol to enter into your chat.

Currently the languages that can be translated to and from are:

English - French
English - German
English - Portuguese
English - Russian
English - Spanish
French - Russian
German -Russian
Italian - Russian
Spanish -Russian

Additionally you can keep a log of everything you've translated. This may be helpful if you needed to translate a paper and accidentally lost the paper on your word processor. Plus it doesn't have to be used only while chatting. It can be used to learn what a certain word is in another language. The Im Translator application size is 1.05mb and time varies on your Internet connection for how long it'll take to download. The requirements are: Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP. Overall the product is really basic learning which is good for beginners who don't want to deal with fancy technical issues.
