Game Background
Instead of saving the world from zombies, you are now the cause of zombies! Infect and destroy the world in just 60 seconds!
Gameplay
The objective of the game is to infect people with zombie-ness.
To begin the game, click anywhere. Your cursor will then turn into an infectious disease that will turn people into zombies. Click near people to infect. You only get one chance per stage, so make it count! People hit by the virus and other zombies will turn into zombies. Coins will appear for you to collect. Simply move your cursor near the coins to collect. Although your zombie minions will go around and infect non-zombies, they only live for a certain amount of time before dying out.
At the bottom of the screen, you can see how many people you have to kill on the bottom-left. To the right of that, you can see how many coins you have collected. To the right of that is the grenade that you can use to kill more people. Grenades need to be bought. The time remaining is shown to the right of the grenade count. The timer starts when you first click the screen. The timer will stop when you have reached the minimum number that you have to kill.
At the end of each stage, you can choose to upgrade your zombies and buy other equipment. These include:
-Lifespan
-Speed
-Damage Resistance
-Attack
-Infection Chance
-Increase virus speed
-Increase money collecting radius
-Grenades
-Giving your virus the ability to penetrate walls
You can continue playing as long as you still have time left on your timer. When all 60 seconds run out, the game will end. You will then be given statistics about your zombie-infecting run. Stats include:
-money collected
-people killed
-people infected
-heroes killed
-cars destroyed
-towns destroyed
You will also get a list of the achievements you obtained while playing. All possible achievements include:
-Mass Murderer I, II, and III
-Gold Digger I, II, and III
-Infect, Infector, and Infectonator!
-Death to Heroes
-Zombie World
-Mad Scientist
At the end of the game, you can also submit your score to a global leader board and compete with people all over the world.
Game Review
Infectonator! is an addicting game with a very high replay value. This is mostly due to the upgrades that can be bought between stages. Also, as players play more and more, they begin to formulate different strategies and approaches to the game. Because the game is quick to play, players do not find it to be too much trouble to try out new strategies. All of these elements make this game highly addicting.
Infectonator! scores a 9/10 for addictive gameplay. More diverse levels would make the game less repetitive.
