This is a free app. It can be located under the category of Games in the iTunes store. You can also find it by searching for "1 to 50" in the App Store. The download data is 3.6 MB. This game is compatible with the iPhone, the iTouch and the new iPad. It is best played on an iPhone or iTouch. It requires iOS 3.0 or later to play.

This game was last updated on October 14, 2010, the update was for a sound bug fix, and the current version is 1.1. This game is played in portrait mode while you touch boxes on the screen and count up from 1 to 50. This is a timed game, the least amount of time it takes you to count to 50 the better your high score. This game was created by WestRiver Software, Inc. Upon launch of the app you will see the start screen, it has options to start the game, mute the sound and to add you time to Facebook. It also has a High Scores option so you can see your time on Local, Global, Country and Daily scores.

When you touch the Start button the game will count down from 3 to 1 and then begin after the game displays the word "go!" Your time will add up by milliseconds and seconds. There are 25 boxes on the screen for the first 25 numbers, they are in random order and you must touch them in consecutive order starting with the number 1 and then so on. Once you touch a number it will disappear and higher number will appear in its place so you can keep counting higher to 50.

If you have trouble finding a number it will blink after three seconds so you can locate it. Once you reach the number 26 the number will disappear from the box but it will not be replaced by another number. If you touch a number that is not in numerical sequence it will make a noise alerting you that you have touch the wrong number. After you touch a number the next number in line will be displayed at the top left hand corner of the game in case you loose count.

Time stops when you touch the number 50, it will display "Game Over" and then prompt you to type in your name with the QWERTY keyboard. Once you have entered your name you can touch the word OK and it will post your score. To see your score you can select "High Scores" and note where it is posted. You will need to remember your time before you enter it so you can find it on the score board. You can receive gold and silver stars by posting times that are less than 50 seconds, 45 seconds, 40 seconds and lower. I currently have 3 gold stars and my best time to date is 29.74 seconds.

This game is great to pass the time with because you will continue to challenge yourself by beating your previous scores. Your Top 20 high scores are posted so can challenge other players to try and post on your high score board. Since this is a free game there are advertisements at the top of the game, it will not affect game play. This is also a full screen game so you will not be able to see the time while you are playing. Ten minutes of game play uses about 5% of your battery life.

AND even though I own no I tune thiniges someone somewhere in the world got a hold of my credit card and buys songs every now and then, embezzling 1.99 every few months, odd, Apple/ Itunes have been zero help in stopping it ha.

Some of the free apps are nicer and more fun than the ones that you have to pay for!
