Recently I tried Jane cosmetic's "Nearly Foundation". The product comes in a 1.5 fl oz plastic tube with a white screw on cap. The idea behind this item is to moisturize your skin while giving a hint of color and SPF 30 sun protection. And to also feel lightweight instead of caked on. There is a slight sunburn lotion smell to it but it isn't overbearing. It absorbs easily into the skin and helps minimize the look of pores. But if you have light/ fair colored skin even the fair color option of the product may leave you looking a bit orange. I tried this product for a while by only putting a little bit on. Please take note that this item is intended for light coverage. If you have acne, more than likely it won't cover up your blemishes.
One day I had decided to put more on and ended up with a fake orange tan look that didn't look too good. Also it was a hot day and my skin felt tight and uncomfortable. It didn't necessarily even out the skin tone either. The product contains ingredients such as : Punica Granatum Extract, Juniperus Communis Fruit Extract Juniper, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, and Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract Elder.
Thankfully the product's smell didn't change to a foul smell like some cosmetics after a period of time. And the product didn't cake up inside the applicator. The product on the official website shows a lighter shade for the fair color but isn't currently correct. Check out http://www.walgreens.com On Walgreen's it gives a more accurate shade color. The cost at Walgreens is currently $4.99. The price isn't bad and the product lasts a while if you use it lightly. This could be a really great product if Jane could make a shade that matches light skin tones.
