Review of the Jardine Natural Americana Combo by Jardine Enterprises
Dresser/ Changing Table Combination
The reason my husband and I picked the Jardine Natural Americana Combo by Jardine Enterprises was because it matched the Jardine crib we had, you can read more about the crib here. This seemed like a good option since it looked nice and the concept was good. There are three drawers and one side cabinet with an interior shelf for additional storage. Good enough for us, we thought.
When it came time to put the Jardine Natural Americana Combo by Jardine Enterprises together it was clear from the start that the process was going to be a headache. There seemed to be an endless amount of screws and other pieces that went with it. The directions left more to be desired and there were scratches on some of the pieces. After a few hours the Jardine Natural Americana Combo by Jardine Enterprises was set up and my husband and I just had a feeling that we may not be happy with it.
According to the description of the Jardine Natural Americana Combo by Jardine Enterprises, on the Babies R Us website, this dresser/changing table combo has three deep drawers. To call the drawers deep is simply not true. They are drawers that actually could have been bigger, and they would not stay in place at all. Talk about frustration when you constantly have to try and put a drawer back on the track.
The side cabinet was nice for storing diapers and wipes, and whatever I suppose you wanted to put in there. However, the shelf wouldn't stay up. Again, frustrating, but we just took the shelf off so it really wasn't that much of an issue. The door to the cabinet, though, did not always stay closed. The Jardine Natural Americana Combo by Jardine Enterprises was really turning out to be a bad investment for us.
Are there any pros to this product that I can give? All I can think of right now is the price and overall look. The Jardine Natural Americana Combo by Jardine Enterprises was falling apart on us pretty much from the beginning. Only lasting us a few months before actually falling apart is just crazy in my opinion. This is furniture, not the cheapest, either. We were hoping for years, not months, of use.
