Review: Jean Paul Gaultier for Target

Iconic fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier has launched a new clothing line for Target, aimed at the everyday American woman. Gaultier's Target line features an eclectic assortment of looks and styles, and there is definitely something for everyone in his collection.

What I love about this collection is that any fashion savvy lady can invest in a beautiful, chic garment at a very reasonable price from a world renowned designer. Gautier's collection of dresses, bottoms, tops, swimwear and outerwear are colorful and fun, and each inspired by a different 'muse'. For instance, there is the punk rock muse, the glamour queen, ingenue, hip-hop, and rock n roll muse. Target's website features a virtual 'look book' where you can find your own 'muse' and inspiration. My personal favorite muse is the 'glamour queen', which includes an assortment of pretty, flirty spring dresses and skirts. All of the outfits featured in the entire collection are very fashion forward and trendy, so if you want to update your spring wardrobe with a few new pieces this year, this would be the place to go.

Prices for this collection range from $17.99 to $199.99, and be sure to check Target's website as different stores across the country may or may not have the entire collection in stock. Also, Gaultier for Target is only available for a limited time, so definitely be sure you grab a piece or two during this spectacular event. I certainly plan on buying several pieces because after all, how often can you buy clothes from an iconic fashion designer at such reasonable prices?!
