Mothers Day is a beautiful concept indeed, especially when you are with family that you love. Well I can imagine how beautiful it is to the owners of those all you can eat buffets, think about it a day like Mothers Day sends thousands upon thousands of people scampering to do something special for mom., And being at the Jumbo Buffet on Springfield avenue in Irvington, NJ. this Sunday was a testament to that !, I could take a pretty good guess, that that was the number one choice of most of the cities residents that day., This buffet nestled in the heart of one of the cities most notorious areas, proved that people from all walks of life, can get together in one place and have a great time. There were people of all nationalities just looking to give mom some appreciation. There were young moms, old moms, grand moms and great grand moms, future moms and more, just all these beautiful moms and families in the Jumbo Buffet.

As for the food, It was what I would expect when I go to Chinese buffet, and the Jumbo Buffet did not let me down. There was lots and lots of food, and they get an A+ for effort with the taste of most of the foods., but how well can we expect the Chinese to make soul food!, although the macaroni and cheese was watery and the collard greens were tasteless, the other foods like the crab salads and seafood salads and pastas were good., Tell you the truth, they had so much food you would be willing to forgive them for a few mishaps., Everything was laid out perfectly and the restaurant was very clean, the atmosphere was charming and that was very relaxing!

Jumbo Buffet, I would say is a true benefit to this community, not because of the food, but because it gives the people of this community a place to dine in a quaint atmosphere, that leaves the worries of the everyday outside, it also provides the families with a nice place to dine instead of th usual MC Donalds and White Castles to which unfortunately, some people only know.

I ask, Are these buffets really worth it ?, and my answer would be yes, Not because of the prices to get in, ( although they are a bit expensive ) but because they bring an added value to our communities, by giving us a place to enjoy our families, and get full and have fun at the same time!, the Jumbo Buffet is a great asset to our families, its local for those who don't have transportation and it gives us a place to dine on special occasions, Yes.......I would dine there again....and again..........and again.

Visit ,you just might like it!
