Review: JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness Featuring Brooke Burke

Angel
I was chosen to product test JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness Featuring Brooke Burke. I was looking forward to this, as my family loves to play WII together.

Before I put the game into the system, I asked my kids, 17, 16, and 7, if they have heard of Brooke Burke before, and I showed them her picture. As I suspected, nadda, and neither did I until it hit me that I think, she was on Dancing With The Stars once. It was funny the feedback the kids gave about how they all felt Brooke Burke was not the right choice for the game, and I'd have to say I agree.

We put the game into the system, and attempted to set up the characters. We had a lot of choices, but it was difficult to tell when there was no more choices because the arrow wasn't faded out enough to let any of us know that was it.

As a parent I was very pleased to see the clothing choices in JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness weren't trashy, or slutty outfits but cute, and cool. This is a big bonus to me, as I want to teach my kids to be better then that.

Several things that weren't mentioned on the JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness box which had they were I would have been jumping up, and down wanting to play, and that is, this game has Pinball! Not the type of Pinball you may be use to though, as it's a workout too, not just a game. Boxing, volleyball, basketball, dodgeball, step aerobics, and football are a few more game selections.

It was really nice that the directions are up front in your face before you even play, instead of having to go hunting for help, it's right there before you play, and repeated until you press the button to move forward.

Having a lot of different choices of backgrounds kept even the most boring game, fun, and interesting. As you never knew what you were going to see around the corner, like during the racing games.

The choices of easy, medium, hard choices made JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness good for every member of the family.

Playing JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness with my youngest I discovered I need to put her into softball or just plain baseball. On easy she hit every one! I couldn't believe it, I had no idea she was so awesome.

The pause button became a real pain for my youngest, rushing though the game no matter which it was, WHAM up came pause. Sure would be nice to disable it at some point.

The delay in responding made the games most impossible to reach certain scores, and the delay had nothing to do with my batteries, as I've been through this before with other games.

JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness isn't too hard for kids of about ages 5 and up to play, so long as they can follow directions. Most adults have problems with that too though.

My kids may not be winning the gmes but they sure are getting one heck of a good work out. I rate JumpStart Get Moving Family Fitness Featuring Brooke Burke a 8 out of 10 stars, had their not been lag/delay when playing it would be a 9.
