After naptime was over, the teachers played with one child and left out the other children. When a child tried to get the attention of the teachers, they were placed in "Time-Out". Children were also placed in "Time-Out" for accidents. For instance, one child tripped on another child's leg and the child that accidentally tripped the first child was placed in "Time-Out". The babies were pampered and were treated as if they were the teacher's own baby. However, the other children were treated as if they were just "bad dogs". One teacher was nice, but a mean teacher who yelled a lot kept sending the nice teacher away to fetch things for her. Sometimes the mean teacher would give the nice teacher a break, but then would order her around again. I wasn't very happy about that because the nice teacher was the only one who didn't yell. The children were very happy when their parents picked them up. I had to be like the teacher for the other kids because the kids were trying to get attention and the teachers ignored them. I kept trying to make sure all the children were happy.
There were a few good things about Kid's Court. I at least got one slice of pizza instead of none. With some kids, the teachers would believe anything they said. The food was good for the most part, and I did get seconds at snack time. We (the kids) had lots of fun playing by ourselves. Naptime was refreshing for a lot of kids, and I stayed quiet like the teacher asked me so I wouldn't wake the other kids. I could tell they needed their rest. I made a lot of friends and the kids were really nice. When the teachers told us to go play with each other that was a good time to make friends. I went into the babies' room at naptime and I enjoyed helping the teacher care for a baby that wouldn't take a nap. The nice teacher was with the babies and me at naptime and she reassured me, telling me that after nap and snack time my mom would probably be there to pick me up. It was like heaven when mom came to pick me up! I was so happy I went straight to her and ran into her arms! I told my mom that I never wanted to go back to Kid's Kourt again. It was the worst daycare I've ever been to!

Post a CommentMy daughter dictated this review for me. She was 10 yrs old at the time, and I had taken her to Kids Kourt 2 in Lincoln, Nebraska while I was in a meeting. We didn't use that child care again.
