Killer Takes All will pull you into a world of role playing games, also referred to as RPGs, that you might have never known existed. The role playing game, White Rabbit, is the center of the book and everyone and everything in the book revolves around it.
Your main character Stacy Killian, is an ex-detective from Dallas, Texas that gets involved when her friend gets murdered. Although Stacy left Dallas to attend graduate school, in New Orleans, Louisiana ,to start a new life for herself, she is sucked right back into her detective ways determined to find out who is responsible for her friend's death. Spencer Malone is the New Orleans police detective that is assigned to the case and Stacy is sure that he is somehow going to screw up the case and not find her friends killer.
When she follows leads that bring her to the creator of White Rabbit, Leo Noble, she initially has no idea of his many secrets and his past. Living with his ex-wife, Kay, and his daughter, Alice, only adds to the confusion and problems Stacy will encounter.
Along the way Stacy and Spencer realize they can help each other more by working as a team and trying to catch the White Rabbit than working separate.
Whoever is responsible for the murders truly brings White Rabbit the role playing game to life and is determined to win by being the last one alive. Notes begin to show up depicting murder scenes that have happened and have yet to happen in this twisted game of White Rabbit, showing Stacy and Spencer that no one is safe until the White Rabbit is found and stopped.
Can Stacy figure out this twisted game that Leo invented and will she be able to stop the Ultimate White Rabbit before her game is over? While reading Killer Takes All, you are sure to think you know who the White Rabbit is only to be shocked when that person ends up dead. Can you figure out who the White Rabbit is before time runs out?
