Review: Kool Aid Fun Fizz

My son loves lemonade. Naturally, I got the lemonade Kool Aid Fun Fizz; along with the only other kind I could find in my local store; grape; for myself. He is four and he loves the Fun Fizz.

This last week we decided to have a glass of Fun Fizz. My son had the lemonade flavor and I had the grape. We were showing Grandma; my Mom; how it works. We got the water in the glass - you need 8 fl. oz. for it to work! We got our tablets all ready.

Note: be careful not to smash the packets the tablets come in so you can get the full effect. It still works, but is not as cool as the whole tablet fizzing at once. You do need to wait until the tablet is completely dissolved to enjoy this delicious drink.

We plop the tablets into the water and watch as they fizz to change the water to our Kool Aid flavors. Grandma quickly comments on the fizzing tablets, "They look like Alka Seltzer tablets."

My reply, "that is probably where they got the idea!"

This product is fun, fast and easy to prepare. I recommend this product for kids and adults alike. I can't wait for them to introduce other flavors to the fun fizz line-up. While I have yet to try the product in a water bottle, I would assume it would be just as fun, fast and easy to prepare. No need for a spoon or to shake it up. The fizz does all the work. Just be prepared to think about Alka Seltzer tablets when you see the fizz starting. Enjoy!
