It goes on to explain the technology that is used in the Lancôme High Resolution Eye Collaser 5X eye serum:
Rice Peptides (Collaser-48™): Stimulate synthesis of Collagen I, III and VII, the main collagens in the dermal-epidermal junction
Alfalfa Extract and Co-Enzyme R combined with Vitamin Cg: Stimulates synthesis of Collagens IV and V to help provide structural support
Vitamin P: Strengthens blood capillary walls in the eye area
Caffeine: Stimulates microcirculation in the eye area
Look and Feel
The .5 fl. Oz. (15mL) container is small and elegant. The serum looks like a cream when it is pumped out but feels more like oil when applied around the eye. It has a cooling sensation and does make my eyes feel refreshed. I have accidently gotten some in my eye and there was no burning or irritation.
Wrinkle Test
I have been using the serum in the morning and at night for two weeks now. I have noticed a slight decrease in my morning wrinkles.
Puffy Eye Test
I rented the movie Marley and Me and sobbed. After a massive cry session my eyes are swollen for days. I applied the Lancôme High Resolution Eye Collaser 5X eye serum both that night and the next morning in hopes I would not look like a monster at work. I was especially impressed that my eyes were visually less swollen in the morning. For puffiness control this product gets an A+.
Unexpected Results
I took my son to an indoor mini golf course and discovered that this eye cream is responsive to black lights. I am not sure why but I had glowing circles around my eyes.
Overall Score Card
The Lancôme High Resolution Eye Collaser 5X eye serum feels great and seems to work well. It is $59 for .5 fl. Oz. (15mL) which is too expensive for me even with the free gift. I will enjoy the eye serum while it lasts but I will not be purchasing it again.
