After doing much research on the Lasko 40-Inch Wind Tower Oscillating Tower Fan, I concluded that most people who ended up buying the product were satisfied with it and would recommend it to others. This particular fan is easily operated with the provided remote control. You don't have to get up and change the fan settings every time which my disabled father appreciated greatly. The look of the fan was also appreciated by me as the contemporary black and silver finish blended well with my existing décor.
As far as performance goes, the Lasko 40-Inch Wind Tower Oscillating Tower Fan is much more powerful than it looks. Even though the air is being produced from a slimmer variation not typical of most homes, the unit does a magnificent job of widening the air stream produced making it seem like the breeze is coming from a larger industrial type fan.
The noise levels emitted from the Lasko 40-Inch Wind Tower Oscillating Tower Fan are much lower than any other conventional fan I have used. I do not have to turn up the television or radio in order to hear my favorite program as I was accustomed to doing while using my conventional box fans. You can choose from three fan speeds as well as the oscillating feature from the remote control or the buttons located on top of the fan itself.
After a year of use, the fan works just as well as it did when I brought it home for the first time. I have also noticed that the Lasko 40-Inch Wind Tower Oscillating Tower Fan does not get as dusty and dirty around the fins and air intake areas of the fan like most other conventional fans do. A high amount of dust that has collected inside or outside of a fan can create problems with performance, air quality and even pose a safety concern.
I would highly recommend this fan to anyone needing a highly effective space saving alternative to conventional fans available today. I can tell that a lot of time and engineering effort has put into this product by the way it performs better than any other fan I've owned. Disabled and elderly people will also appreciate its features as well, more specifically, the remote control function.
