These chips stood out because they had a big label that read new! I just had to try them, so I bought two bags and brought them home. After putting my groceries away I made my husband and I a quick sandwich and ask him which chips would he prefer to try? His answer, both!
I gathered a big handful of each chip and piled them on both of our plates and after one bite into the Balsamic Sweet Onion I can tell you this, great tasting chip! The chip has a real sweet taste but then you can taste the onion as well. They are very light and not very thick.
Next we tried the Tangy Carolina BBQ. I loved this chip because I have always been a sucker for BBQ chips but these were exactly what the name reads and that's tangy. Would go great with just about anything but I'm gonna serve them with my barbecue next time.
These chips come in a whole new line from Lay's. This line also makes Cajun Herb and Spice, Pepper Relish, Garden Tomato and Basil, Southwest Cheese and Chiles. I have not tried these others yet but trust me I will. I can't wait to get a hold of these other lines of chips.
These chips will cost you 3.99 a bag unless you get them on sale. I purchased mine at Safeway but I'm sure you will be able to locate them anywhere that sales chips. The Balsamic Sweet Onion chips are gluten free and have no MSG in them.
The Balsamic Sweet Onion Chips also have no trans fats no soy and no cholesterol. They give you 160 calories for 1 ounce serving size and 10 grams of total fats. With the Tangy Carolina BBQ chips you'll get160 calories as well with 1 ounce serving size and only 10 grams of total fats.
Lay's uses only the finest ingredient's to make their chips from Cayenne peppers, honey, vinegar, sugar, cinnamon, brown sugar, and allot more great stuff. These chips have a guarantee to always hold fresh taste and never to be stale.
From these thin cooked potato chips to my mouth I can tell you there is no other chip on the market that holds this much flavor, creativity, crunch and varieties. This company Frito Lay originated back in 1932 and has had continued success since.
