Review of Lia Sophia Jewelry

I never heard of Lia Sophia jewelry until my friend had a house party last summer selling it. I went out of courtesy to a friend and for a nice night out with friends. I took the catalog convinced that I was only going to be a thing or two and I ended up with a list of things I wanted. My credit card tapped me and reminded me that I couldn't buy it all so I got what I could and bought more gradually. Months later, and two updated catalogs later, I am still buying Lia Sophia jewelry! I even hosted my own party!

What's so great about it?
Although it's costume jewelry, the quality is superb. I went to a Premier jewelry party a few months later and it didn't even compare. It looked junky compared to Lia Sophia's jewelry which has sturdy clasps, fine detailing, and isn't made cheaply. There are no gaps between the beads, it doesn't tarnish, and I haven't had anything break of me so far. And even if it does, the company offers a lifetime replacement guarantee that states that as long as you have the receipt you can return the piece if you are unhappy with it. That sounds like great news to me since I am not real gentle with things and since I am planning on having kids in the near future. The little ones can yank on a necklace and I can have it replaced if it breaks.

Lia Sophia Jewelry is Unique
Lia Sophia must have artist after artist making these beautiful creations because there are so many shapes, sizes, and styles. Some of the jewelry is real modern while other things like a beautiful delicate piece of pearls is a little more traditional. And the colors are gorgeous! There is something in the catalog to match everything in my wardrobe and the problem is, I don't have something to wear with all the jewelry so some of the things I've bought I've had to go out and buy a new outfit! I don't see that changing as the catalog's change either!

Affordability
While some of the Lia Sophia pieces are a little extravagant and expensive ranging in the $98 to $115 range, many of the items are affordable. Several of the necklaces are $28, $32, etc. And the earrings, many of which come in clip-ons, are $19 and up. Not too bad. Plus, if you play your cards right, you can work their on going specials to your advantage. This month the special is buy two get one at 50% off. The first two pieces can be your cheapest and the their at 50% can be those higher $98 items I mention. Ok, $49 is still a bit pricey for some, but if it a Lia Sophia piece that you really love, it may be worth it.

Free jewelry
If you really can't afford their jewelry but absolutely love it, host a party. The perks for the host are beyond any of the other house parties I've ever heard of. This is what Lia Sophia gives hostesses:

-20% of your show sales in free jewelry credits.

-Hostess Bonus Items - you get to choose four items at special hostess prices, usually $15 unless noted. These pieces are noted throughout the book and are usually in the $110 range.

Half-price items - two items at half price.

Special buying privilege - hostesses get to buy an additional half-price item when they purchase from a show booked at their own.

-40% hostess credit - the hostess gets 40% of show sales in jewelry credit at an additional fee of $15 with 10 orders and two dates bookings from their show. And let me tell you, there hasn't been a show I've been to that I haven't seen this happen. It's not hard to do at all.
