Review of Life Could Be a Dream by Scott Curtis

Angel
This novel isn't to be confused with Scott Curtis's first novel Mommy's Choice. Scott has stepped off away from his first novel with Life Could be a Dream a novel set in two time periods, 1958 and 2008 complete with 1958's sound track listed in the back of the book. Those of us from the older generation will already have all these songs on CD somewhere. So it's an added bonus to listen to them while enjoying this well written and crafted storyline.

I found myself captured by the in-depth style of detail and plot twists Scott Curtis dreamed up in this novel.

You find yourself in the world of today when you start reading, to be lead to 1958 with loads of unanswered questions. How, why, and what to do now? You can't stop reading now because it's gripping you at every turn. You must have these answers, as so must the characters involved in the story.

Abuse, possible murder, love and hate pull at your heart strings with each and every page as your mind sinks deeper and deeper into the lead characters tale.

Sean is a 16 year old kid who is having problems with an abusive father, only has his mother to turn to, and look out for. That is of course till he escapes into 1958.

While in 1958 he meets Rita who helps him get his life on track, he starts school and begins building a life. He falls in love with Clara, and eventually causes Sean to destroy his only exit back to 2008. He's willingly stranded with the love of his life. Every thing seems perfect, or is it? Sean is suddenly torn back from 1958 to 2008 where the plot thickens even more!

Without giving up too much of the story, just when you think you have things figured out, it's obvious you don't! Then someone shows up who should have been dead. How could this be? You have to read to discover this and so much more.

Page by page I could not put this novel down. Could Life be a Dream? Suspenseful, romance novel will keep you on the edge of your seat till the very last page. This is one book I will be reading again and again.

This book is already available everywhere online, Amazon.com, Target.com, Borders.com, BN.com. It will be in stores soon. I'm very glad this author didn't go the self publishing route that causes so very many authors to not be permitted to have their books carried in stores. Because I will be directing everyone to buy this book, and not everyone shops online.
