Review of Little Tykes Toys

Ryanick Paige
I have two boys and I needed to find them toys that will stand the test of time. They play hard and they play rough. They needed toys that could be drug around, kicked around, and still be able to take the continuous punishment that they had to offer. I found this quality in the Little Tykes toys. They are able to stand up to the every changing weather, the mass destruction my boys engage upon them, and they keep coming back for more.

My first experience with Little Tykes was a blue plastic swing that I hung on my porch for my sin to be able to enjoy the outside without having to drag out the baby swing. It hung from the rafters month after month until he was big enough for a big boy swing. That swing is still going strong 15 years later. It has made its way through many children and many moves from one house to another. The swing is a quality product but not a true test of what the Little Tykes products can endure.

The next Little Tykes product has stood its ground through out the years is the Little Tykes wagon. We got the wagon 15 years ago when my oldest son has just turned one. He got the Little Tykes wagon for his birthday. At first, the wagon was only used to haul his toys around the house and back again. The following summer the Little Tykes wagon had its first adventure outside being pulled around the yard and pushed down hills. We still have this wagon now. It has been ridden down hills, crashed into trees, and flipped over more times than I care to imagine. The wheels are cracking but the Little Tykes wagon is still moving and handling all that the boys can give it.

We have had many Little Tyke toys though the years as well as various other brands. I am sure we have tried it all; swings, wagons, toy boxes, ride on toys, sliding boards, and basketball hoops. The Little Tykes have proven themselves time and time again. The Little Tykes toys are built to outlive their need and can handle the rugged use that the boys have put them through. They are a quality product that is able to handle anything that comes their way and most importantly anything, two active boys can throw at it.

I love Little Tykes and my red swing is still hanging around our garage about 17 years. Amazing.
