While cleaning out the basement, I managed to come across a small collection of the dolls still in their boxes, and up on the review chopping block today is Deadbra Ann, whom was part of the Living Dead Dolls, series 2.
So let me tell you about my sweet rotting dolly, Deadbra.
Deadbra Ann, like all Living Dead Dolls, comes in her usual coffin shaped package. The doll itself has pasty pale skin to resemble death as realistically as possible; even for a doll, the skin color is pretty accurate. Her legs and arms all move, but you are restricted to just a basic stand up, or sit down with legs wide open type of deal. Kind of like old Barbie Dolls, that have movement in the limbs but only back and forth type poses.
The dolls hair is a red amber color, and on her head she wears a crown, her dress is a bright bloody red color, with a ribbon wrapped around her. As if she won prom queen, she also comes packaged with a bouquet of flowers.
Overall:
I had no idea that this particular doll would ever go so high up in price, as I managed to pick her up years ago in a clearance bin for $10.00 or something low. Deadbra Ann now goes for around $80.00. Other dolls in the same series also have risen in price, and some are so unbelievably valuable it made my jaw drop.
Worth Buying? At the price she is set at now, I wouldn't buy it, but if she is a missing key in your collection I would recommend scooping her up now, as her price will likely just continue to soar.
These Living Dead Dolls make for excellent little window sill decorations around Halloween time, but I suggest that you keep them in their boxes.
