Review: Lock And Lock 8 Piece Color Food Storage Container Set

Becky D
I recently moved into a new apartment and was looking for a good product to replace my old Tupperware with. I found this Lock & Lock 8 Piece Color Food Storage Container Set for $22 from QVC. The set has a variety of different sized containers and comes in blue, green, orange, yellow, and pink.

These containers are microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe so they will not create any extra work for you in the kitchen. They are liquidtight and airtight to prevent spills and keep food fresh longer. They also come with a lifetime warranty so if you ever have a problem with them they will be replaced.

The colors are great. They are very vibrant yet transparent enough that you can easily see what is inside. I have a blue set and my roommate has a pink set. This works out well because they don't get mixed up and we can easily tell which stuff is ours in the fridge. I have yet to have anything stain these containers or change the colors.

These containers are very convenient to store. They stack together well unlike some other brands. I love not having lids fall on me every time I open my cabinet.

I use my Lock & Locks to bring lunch to work every day. I have never had anything leak in my bag. I've brought salad with salad dressing and soup and never had a problem. The food stays fresh all day even though it is not in the refrigerator.

The containers come in a good variety of sizes. It is nice to have the perfect size container for what you need to put in it so that you are not wasting room in the cabinets or fridge. I often take cereal and crackers out of their boxes and store them in these so that they are easier to get to and stay fresher longer.

The product is called Lock & Lock because there are four hinged locks on the top of the container - one on each side. I find that they are much easier to open and close than Tupperware. You know for sure when they are closed tightly because you will hear the click. They also snap open easier than trying to pry up the corner of Tupperware.

If you are looking for a replacement for your old containers, these will work great to keep your food fresh. They look nice and do not discolor the way other brands do.
