If you are living on a budget and you need a sofa, refrigerator, computer or television, chances are you will end up either at a resale shop, or a rent to own establishment. In Logan Ohio, you have three choices. Aaron's rental center, on West Hunter Street, Rent 2 Own, on Main Street, and Rent A Center on State Route 664.

Rent A Center is located in the Wal-Mart complex, and that is the highlight of this business. At Rent A Center you can pick out the merchandise of your choice, and they will deliver it the same day normally. Within 12 months you can pay off most items you would rent. The downfall to renting furniture or appliances at Rent A Center : Although you think the merchandise is new, it is not. Most rentals are around forty dollars a week. Again, much like all other rent to own companies, if you are not able to pay your bill at least a day in advance, be prepared to receive a lot of phone calls. The management at Rent A Center is pretty darn despicable. I would not expect much in the way of customer service here.

Aaron's rental center is the next option you have. Again, most rentals will be payed for within twelve months, rentals are a little cheaper at Aaron's , between twenty and forty dollars a week. Again customer service is not a selling point at Aaron's. Also, Aaron's advertises same day delivery, but they will not normally keep to this 'promise'. In my case I had to come back and pick up my merchandise, or wait for three days. The selling point of Aaron's is, they really won't hassle you too much about payment if you are a day or two late.

Finally we come to Rent 2 Own. I rented a bed there for a very short time, I was under the impression that I was renting a new bed. The bed that was delivered to my apartment was very used, and had a rip in it. The manager assured me they made a mistake, and it would be corrected. Well, the manager avoided returning my calls, absolutely no resolution was reached. I sent the bed back pretty quickly.

If you are in a pinch, and you simply can not afford to get furniture or appliances any other way, a rent to own business is fine, but if you can save a little cash you can buy basically whatever merchandise you need at a fraction of the cost at other stores. Realistically you would be better off to visit a resale shop. The furniture you rent will be used also, and at a resale shop you will save a fortune.
