Review of L'Oreal HIP Bright Shadow Duo in Adventurous, Riotous and Flashy

I recently bought several L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duos. I don't typically shop for eyeshadow at the drug store, but these colors interested me enough to buy.

Here's my review of the L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duos in Adventurous, Riotous and Flashy.

I was looking for some bold eyeshadow colors I could wear when I'm tired of neutral colors. Buying the L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duos in Adventurous, Riotous and Flashy was an inexpensive way to experiment.

The Adventurous eyeshadow combination had a shade of pink and another of a taupe color. Each could be warn on the eyelid. The taupe color could also be used as a brow highlight shadow. The pink is best when it is packed on. I would not recommend this if you have a tan or dark skin tone. You have to apply a lot. Use a primer base if you have it.

The Riotous combination is the most interesting among the eye shadows I purchased for myself. This is because it is a bold green color combination and cool tones. The Riotous combo has a bright lime green and a dark grayish-brown color. The lime green eyeshadow works as an eyelid color and the dark grayish-brown as a crease color.

Another interesting L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duos to look at is the Flashy combination. This is a teal color and a beige color. The beige color can go on the eyelids of be used as a highlight color. The teal could also be used on the lid for a bolder look or in the crease along with the beige. This eyeshadow combination works well for warmer toned skin.

The L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duos in Adventurous, Riotous and Flashy each come with a sponge applicator at the bottom of the package. I usually use an eyeshadow brush, but having the applicator is convenient if I want to touch up my makeup in the bathroom. These L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duos are suppose to have a mirror at the bottom of the container, but mine did not.

The verdict. I would recommend the L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duos in Riotous and Flashy. I would not recommend buying the Adventurous shades unless you're getting a really good deal. You can find a nicer, more pigmented combination of pink and taupe in another eyeshadow set.

The L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Shadow Duos are ideal for teenagers, college students or any women that's on the budget. It's also a good choice if you want to experiment with color.
