I admit, my favorite ice cream has always been butter pecan. But most of all I have had has been vanilla ice cream with chunks of pecans inside. But when I bought this ice cream by Lucerne I found a product that makes their ice cream the way I like it.
This creamy butter pecan ice cream is brown in color when you open it. I tasted this ice cream and immediately thought to myself this is heaven in a cup. They use caramel inside the vanilla ice cream to give it the color of tan and then toss in a multitude of chopped pecans in bite size pieces.
I only bought a small container of this ice cream and only paid 1.00 dollar for it. I wanted to make sure it taste good before I spent more money on a gallon size or a half of gallon size. So this container is 7.5 ounces just enough to let you enjoy the great flavors you've had before.
This ice cream will come in a white cup with a orange rim top. A picture of a barn on the front and under the lid you'll find a wooden spoon just like we use to have years ago. A serving size for this ice cream is 1/2 of this cup and with that you'll get 200 calories.
There is 110 calories from fat with this ice cream and 12 grams of total fat inside. You will also receive 3 grams of protein with this butter pecan ice cream. There is 5 grams of saturated fats and absolutely o trans fats.
If you are concerned with cholesterol this ice cream has 30 milligrams inside. There is also 150 milligrams of sodium in this product as well. There is no dietary fiber in this ice cream and you'll get 18 grams of sugar.
Calcium provided per serving in this ice cream is 8% and some of the ingredients are non fat milk, sugar, pecans, caramel flavor, cream and some other items not mentioned. Check out Lucerne at their web site www.lucernesfoods.com.
