Luna nutrition bars come in a wide variety of delicious flavors. Of course I like some better than others but none that I've tried really tasted bad. My absolute favorite is the lemon zest flavor, closely followed by chocolate peppermint stick and toasted nuts and cranberry. Other flavors include chocolate raspberry, chocolate dipped coconut, chocolate chunk, s'mores, peanut butter cookie, chocolate nut brownie, dulce de leche, vanilla almond, iced oatmeal raisin, cookies 'n cream delight and white chocolate macadamia nut. There is truly something for everyone. I like the fact that Luna offers a number of flavors that don't involve chocolate; I love chocolate as much as anyone but sometimes I get tired of it and I welcome the alternatives.
Luna bars have a bit more sugar than I'd really like in a nutrition bar, but I'm willing to eat them anyway because they taste so good. Most Luna bars have about 11 grams of sugar, which I can tolerate even though I had gastric bypass surgery. If you really need to limit your sugar intake, though, they may not be the best choice for you.
Most Luna bars have about calories 190 and about 10 grams of protein. They are not the best option out there, nutritionally speaking, but I don't think they are really bad for you, either. And again, they are delicious. It doesn't really help me if a protein bar is excellent from a nutritional standpoint but tastes so bad I don't want to eat it.
Luna bars are readily available in many stores. I buy them at Kroger, Walmart and Meijer. However, stores often only carry a few flavors, so if I want more variety I order them online. If you order them online, you can also purchase variety packs though I've never seen those in stores. I encourage you to give them a try.
