FORMULA
My biggest issue with hand lotion is that it leaves my hands feeling really weird. Almost like, I can't touch anything or it will stick to my hands. Especially living with dogs, this was a huge problem. Because of this feeling, I never put lotion on. I always had dry, cracked hands and I hated the way they felt. I especially hated having to shake anyone's hand because I imagined them wincing at how horrible my hands felt. When I went on vacation this year, I got a chance to go to LUSH, after many recommendations, and have finally dealt with my dry hands! When I went in, they gave me a demo for soft hands, and their products worked phenomenally. I ended up buying the whole treatment, but the Dream Cream is my favorite product to this day. It's not like a normal lotion, butter, or cream. It has a smooth consistency of its own. When you use it, it doesn't leave a weird film. I can feel it soaking into my hands and leaving them velvety soft and silky smooth. I'm not afraid of touching anything, and I use this every night. It is super simple to use, smells good, and you can actually see long-term results. I don't suffer from handshake phobia anymore and my hands feel wonderful. I also use this on my arms, and there is a lot of improvement there, too.
HOW TO USE
The great thing about LUSH products is that a little goes a long way. I usually start with a penny-sized dollop and work from there for my hands. Usually, this is enough for my hands and my wrists. For my arms, I just dab a little on my fingers and rub it on each arm. The thing I have to stress, is to start with less, and add more if needed. It will go a long way, so one container of this will last you a long time. I bought mine in April; I probably won't need another one until my next vacation.
PRICE
Dream Cream Body Cream is a little on the expensive side, however, you don't need to buy it frequently, as it will last a long time. Dream Cream is $22.55 for 8.4 oz. Yes, this is on the pricey side. But, think about how many things of lotion you would buy normally and add that up. It will probably be pretty comparable, if not cheaper.
PACKAGING
The packaging is nothing special- just the basic black container with the product name and ingredients. The instructions, expiration date, and the fact that it is a vegan product is also on the packaging. Nothing too spectacular, but not ugly either.
FINAL OPINIONS
I absolutely love this cream, and it will definitely be a repurchase for me. It smells great, lasts a long time, and actually works. Yay, Dream Cream! Where would I be without you? You can buy Dream Cream at lushusa.com and at LUSH stores. If you have never been to a LUSH store, I would suggest going to one if you can. My only warning would be to have someone else hold your wallet, because some people have been known to go buying-crazy at this fabulous store.
