There are three different kinds of cream in their line of products. Of course these creams are only available with a prescription from a dermatologist. One of the main ingredients in these creams is Hydroqquinone. This ingredient is great for patients who struggle with hyper pigmentation that comes from hormonal changes, sun damage or genetics. You will definitely have to talk to your dermatologist about any of these creams by Lustra because it is not for everyone!
Lustras website is not really user friendly. The reason for that is that they don't have daily consumers in mind. They did not build this site for us they built it for dermatologist. So, if you go on their website and don't get what is going on, then don't worry you are not crazy it's just that they have scientist in mind and not us. They do make a lot of information available so this will be a great resource if you want to do an investigation on their products. They don't list a lot of their ingredients on the site and how they work. However, you can always ask your dermatologist how the ingredients work. They offer information for people with hyper pigmentation.
The positives are that they do include a lot information about how to avoid sun damage. They do a great job of giving detailed information about that and the best practices against sun damage. All of their products come with great moisturizers.
The negatives are that you can't buy the products through the website. This is makes sense because this site is geared towards doctors, they are the only ones who can order this product. If you ask for a sample from your doctor you will most likely turned down.
Overall Lustra will do you good if you suffer from hyper pigmentation. However, if you are looking to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles this is probably not the product for you. However, it does not hurt to talk to your dermatologist to see what other prescriptions products works to relieve wrinkles.
