I was surprised when I first opened the box upon delivery. The Magic Bullet was even smaller than it looked on TV. It only takes up the space of a large coffee mug. However, because it was small, I found its own dedicated counter space for it so I don't have to put it away after each use.
The machine does a few things exceptionally well. The first is drinks. Mixed drinks are a breeze. This thing can crush ice effortlessly and it has a perfect consistency. Also, the 4 party mugs that come with the Magic Bullet allow you to make each drink in its own mug so you don't have to make an entire pitcher of a certain drink (which is handy when everyone has a different favorite frozen cocktail). The screw-on rings that hide the threads of the mug are also different colors so that party-goers can identify their drink.
Besides drinks, the machine has proven invaluable at meal times. When I swing by the house for a quick lunch break, I can whip up chicken salad or a cheesy nacho sauce for a quesadilla in a minute or two. For dinner and parties, there are plenty of recipes that can be made in the Magic Bullet quickly. Soups, salsas, and homemade salad dressings are so simple you will wonder why you haven't been making these things instead of buying them all along. They taste twice as good too without all the preservatives you find in the store bought versions.
I will say that the juicer attachment to the Magic Bullet is not all that I had hoped for. It doesn't produce as much juice as a normal high-quality juicer would for all the fruits and veggies I put into it. However, the machine can blend up smoothies by using whole fruits like strawberries, bananas, and pineapple without using a juicing method.
The best part of the machine is the easy clean up. The machine makes almost no mess at all. You blend and mix in plastic cups that are also microwaveable and double as storage containers in case you don't consume your entire blended creation in one sitting. If you wash the blades immediately after use, a quick rinse is more than sufficient before tackling your next Magic Bullet flavor.
Since it's been on TV for quite a while now, the price has come down a little too. These days you can own a Magic Bullet of your own for $70-$100. I highly recommend holding out for the two-for-one offers that pop up now and then where the distribution company gives two Magic Bullets for the price of one because they make great gifts!

Post a CommentI am returning this item the blade does not turn due to plastic gears I didn't get a chance to try ice i couldn't even mash fruit
JUST WONDERING IF i AM THE ONLY ONE WHO NEEDS A REPAIR TO THAT CLEAR PLASTIC PIECE WHERE THE BLADE ASSEMBLY LOCKS INTO? EACH TIME I USE THE BULLET, THAT CLEAR PLASTIC CHIPS OFF A LITTLE AT A TIME, AND NOW IT WON'T EVEN TURN THE BLADE. I LOVE THE BULLET, BUT IT WAS A LOT OF MONEY FOR SOMETHING WITH NO REPLACEMENT PARTS AVAILABLE
My magic bullet broke. It smoked after the second day of use. I think the motor jammed or something. I returned it.
You can also find great deals on these on Ebay. It's good to know they are worth the money. I have been wanting one since I saw them on TV a couple years back.
