Review of Marie Callender’s Creamy Chicken Alfredo with Sun Dried Tomatoes: Serves Three

Delicious and Easy

Bridgitte Williams

I love so many of Marie Callender's brand frozen foods. When I came across Marie Callender's Creamy Chicken Alfredo with Sun Dried Tomatoes frozen meal for three in my local favorite grocery store, I was thrilled. I loved the ingredients in this dish and I bought it. Here are my findings about this product!

This frozen family style dinner has many great things going for it. It is in an unique baking tray that bakes evenly in a microwave. This dish is also packed with vitamin A and calcium. I liked that fact. The ingredients are white meat chicken, bow tie pasta, sun dried tomatoes, broccoli, cream, carrots, cream cheese, red peppers, sherry wine, Romano and Parmesan cheeses, garlic and other ingredients. I loved the sound of this creative food combination.

You can cook this dish in a conventional oven. It takes about an hour. I decided to microwave bake this meal. I cut a slit in the film cover, heated on high for six minutes, uncovered, stirred and continued cooking on high for four and one half more minutes. I let this dinner stand for five minutes before serving. I uncovered, stirred well and served. In about sixteen minutes, I had a complete meal ready. This one looked great! When I tasted Marie Callender's Creamy Chicken Alfredo with Sun Dried Tomatoes, I loved it. The creamy Alfredo sauce is superb. Rich and tasty. There is a nice amount of tender white meat chicken chunks in this dinner. It also has lots of broccoli and bow tie pasta. All cooked to perfection. This meal was delicious. I and my dinner guests enjoyed. The servings are hearty and filling. This one is a winner! I rate this meal five stars out of five stars. I could not find one thing wrong with it. I have five years experience reviewing food products and it is always a joy to come across a fabulous frozen meal for a family. This dish qualifies. I will be buying this product again.

One serving has 320 calories. 150 of those calories are from fat. One serving has 16 grams of total fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 970 mg's of sodium, 60 mg's of cholesterol, 25 grams of total carbs, 260 mg's of potassium, 2 grams of sugars, 4 grams of dietary fiber and 18 grams of protein. A nice amount of vitamins and minerals are in this dish. With fresh tasting veggies, tender pasta and lots of fabulous creamy sauce, this one pleases me. My family agrees. I loved this one. Easy, fast and affordable. I paid around six dollars for this meal. It was worth every penny.

I've tried a few of the MC meals, but the fat grams always seem high...guess that's what makes them tasty!....lol.
