Color:
I'm starting with color because I think color is one of the most important factors in the foundation area. If you have a foundation with an unnatural color, there is not much point in wearing it.
I will say that I do love the colors from Instant Age Rewind. They are very natural looking and easy on the eyes, though I am not all that impressed with the color selection. I wish there was a wider variety available. The colors do go from light to dark but it is kind of a rough transition. I have only seen three light colors and then it jumps to darker colors. So they may not have your color.
Texture:
Texture is another high priority. If you have a heavy, dry, oily, etc. texture it can really ruin the appearance of your makeup and make everything look caked on and heavy. I do like the texture of Age Rewind!
Age Rewind has a very light texture and it doesn't cake to your face. If you don't want the feeling of a mask on your face and need a foundation to cover all your face, you may want to take a look at Age Rewind.
If you have dry skin, you may want to look at a different foundation because this one tends to draw attention to dry skin as it sticks around it. Also, don't use a large amount of product in the same area because it tends to build in wrinkles and creases.
Coverage:
Now here we go with the coverage. A lot of people don't read the coverage on the label and get mad when it doesn't cover what they want covered.
Age Rewind is a sheer cover (very light on coverage). If you want a foundation that fixes your skin tone and evens everything out, this will do the trick. But if you want a foundation to cover scars, acne, freckles, moles, etc. this is not the right foundation for you.
I would highly advise using a foundation primer under this foundation because it is such light coverage. It tends to wear away easily, but primers add a little extra wear-life.
Age Rewind does reduce the amount of fine lines on your face, but you have to make sure you don't use too much product and overdo it! I generally use a mineral powder foundation on my face and then use this foundation around my eyes because my eyes don't need much coverage and it helps ease those little lines.
To sum everything up, if you need a foundation that is easy on the wallet and will even out your skin tone, I say use this foundation. I got mine for $7.00 and it's in a rather large bottle so you will have plenty for the price.
