When I first purchased Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse, I was pleasantly surprised as I opened up the container. I was met with a sort of gooey, moist, light brown makeup, and when I put my brush in it and applied it to my face; I was pleased with how moist and soothing the makeup felt. The consistency of Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse is perfect for finger blending or use with a soft blush brush. Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse really has the ability to make your skin feel pampered as you use it.
The makeup comes in many different shades. Three of them are tan, cocoa, and caramel. I am a fan of caramel because it really goes well with my honey brown skin. It makes my face appear brighter and more fresh and vibrant.
I have used other foundations that include the popular MAC and variations of Black Radiance. However, those sometimes made my face look as if it had no makeup on it, and then I just looked plain. I want to look like myself and better. Therefore, I like the fact that Maybelline's Dream Matte Mouse brightens me up a little, and it's not as if I have bad skin or anything like that. For those who are looking for the no-makeup look, they can try a darker shade,
The list of ingredients for Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse goes on an on. It is a common debate about whether or not makeup is bad for your skin, and this one certainly isn't what you would call " bare minerals," but I have been using this makeup for about three years, and nothing out of the ordinary has happened to my face. I'm 24 now, and people always say that I look much younger than that.
As a an African American, it can be a bit difficult to find the right kind of makeup to use, but Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse really has worked well for me. People always give me compliments on it, and as an attention-getter, it never fails. I would recommend this makeup to anyone looking to try out a unique makeup-experience. Not everyone can say they embraced the gooey-dewy to find their true product for beauty.
