Review of Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbreads Chicken Club

Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbreads Chicken Club is a meal that is geared toward people watching their weight, but is it good enough to eat without feeling deprived? The box said to savor and compare so I decided to do just that.

Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbreads Chicken Club is made with an oven baked flatbread topped with white chicken, reduced fat cheeses, bacon and roma tomatoes with a creamy ranch sauce.

It is simple to prepare Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbreads Chicken Club. The directions state to vent the corner of box lid and microwave for two minutes and then to leave sit in the microwave for two minutes before eating. The only problem to this was I could hear the filling pieces running around loose inside. I had to completely open the box and place the toppings on the flatbread. While the lid didn't close tight, the Chicken Club Flatbread cooked up nice.

The directions say to fold the Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbread Chicken Club in half to make a sandwich. I found this to be a very messy way of eating it as the filling tends to squish out whenever you bite into it. It is simply easier to eat it as if it was pizza. Cut it in half and eat as a slice of pizza or cut the flatbread into squares with a fork and knife and dine in style.

The toppings of the Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbread Chicken Club was more than I expected. The tomato was prominent, however there was plenty of cheese and ranch sauce as well. The bacon was also accounted for, but it seemed to have a minor role.

The taste was good. The flatbread was dense and filling. The other toppings were delicious as well. If you like tomatoes then you will like Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbreads Chicken Club.

The worst thing about Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbreads Chicken Club is the amount of sodium. One package gives one serving, however that one serving contains seven hundred fifty mg of sodium. That is thirty-one percent of the daily needed amount. Also, for a product that is made for the weight conscious, it contains eleven percent of the total daily fat and thirteen percent of saturated fat.

I would happily recommend Michelina's Lean Gourmet Flatbreads Chicken Club despite the sodium amount. This is a very tasty product and it is quick and easy to make. Perfect for busy people on the go. This product can be bought at Walmart, Kroger and many other fine stores.
