The Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset has a sleek appearance with a plastic casing. It is only about 1" wide and about 1.7" long. It is very light and will fit easily in your pocket. Its ear-hook has a rubber finish that clasps without applying stress to you ear. The clasp is such that the headset can be worn on either the left or the right ear.
The Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset has a large button located in the middle to answer and end calls and to pair with your mobile device. There are 2 volume controls on the sides. All the buttons are easy to access when the headset is mounted on your ear. Its microphone is flippable; like in a flip-phone, you can flip it open to answer a call and fold it in to end the call. It is called RapidConnect technology. This is its most attractive feature.
I am happy with the voice quality of Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset. With all the devices mentioned above, the clarity is good. The volume control provides fairly good amplification. Occasionally, I experience static noise. In the vicinity of Wi-Fi and other Bluetooth devices, the quality degrades due to interference within the frequency band of operation of the headset.
I get good connectivity between my wireless device and the Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset within a 7-8 feet radius. But most frequently I use it while driving where the range is much smaller and the voice quality is practically flawless. Occasionally, it picks up environmental noise such as disturbances from winds - this is noticeable sometime only at high speeds on freeways.
Mounting the headset on the ear-lobe can be a little tricky initially - I got it with a little practice and still do not attempt it while driving. If it does not fit snugly, it can slip off the ear when you reach out for its controls.
The Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset comes with a travel charger and is compatible with USB chargers. My usage of the headset gives me an average of about 4-5 hours of talk time and about 4 days of standby time.
