Review of the Motorola V3M RAZR Cellular Phone

Small Form Factor, Easy to Use, but Does it Pack Enough Punch?

John Ehle
After purchasing The Motorola V3M RAZR Cellular Phone from my local Verizon store, I looked through the instructions as a usually do to get a full feel of all of the features and limitations. The manual for The Motorola V3M RAZR Cellular Phone has a lot of specific information and weeding through it all took some time to complete.

One of the first things that drew my attention to this phone was the bright and crisp lcd screen. Even though it is relatively small I had no trouble whatsoever reading any of the text characters. You can change the screen layout with different wallpapers or put your own up from the built in 1.3 megapixel camera.

The sound quality from The Motorola V3M RAZR Cellular Phone during phone conversations is surprisingly one of the best I have encountered from a Cell phone. Playing ring tones and other downloaded music sounds equally impressive through the loud speaker. The most surprising feature on this seemingly plain phone is the ability to have it recognize voice commands that allow you to dial your contacts hands free without fumbling while driving. Considering the amount of traffic fatalities and accidents due to cell phone use, I believe this was a very responsible feature that Motorola included.

Sending multimedia picture and regular text messages are a breeze. One of my biggest gripes though is that this phone, not having a QWERTY keyboard, makes text messaging not worth it. The T-9 text prediction is also bothersome and frustrating to me. The internet browser that is included with The Motorola V3M RAZR Cellular Phone is better than expected. I am able to browse a wide variety of web sites through the phone with ease, even some dynamic content.

The battery life is excellent compared to a lot of competing phones on the market today still. I have personally observed over 3 days on a single charge with moderate use. You can easily connect your Motorola V3M RAZR Cellular Phone to your computer via USB connection which makes information exchange a breeze. All in all I am satisfied with the phone, it's not a Black Berry by any means but it does come with a host of features that would be useful to the less than tech savvy crowd. It is also extremely affordable today and works with many different cell phone providers. Sleek and durable, the Motorola V3M RAZR Cellular Phone should last you for a long time.
