Review of Mott's Veggie Blend and How it Compares to V8 Vegetable Juice

Is Mott's Veggie Blend Better Than V8 Vegetable Juice?

I recently had a chance to drink a bottle of Mott's Veggie Blend. Here are my review on the Mott's vegetable juice and if I think it's better than V8 Vegetable Juice.

One day while looking for something to drink at the local gas station, I spotted a 14 ounce bottle of Mott's Veggie Blend in the glass refrigerator. It was intriguing because I didn't know that Mott's had a Veggie Blend drink. I had considered getting a 12 ounce bottle of V8 Vegetable Juice, but declined because of the smaller size and higher price.

When I see something new, it's hard to resist trying it out. So I got the bottle of Mott's Veggie Blend and took it home to give it a try.

The Mott's Veggie Blend packaging is attractive with an images of vegetables: tomato, carrot, onion and celery on the plastic bottle. You can see the red colored tomato blend juice in the bottle and very top of the bottle. The glimpses of juice makes it more appetizing.

The Mott's Veggie Blend packaging states that the drink as all natural 100 percent juice. It's a bold and spicy tomato vegetable blend. It has 100 percent vitamin C. The Mott's Veggie Blend is naturally flavored 100 percent juice from concentrate with added ingredients.

The ingredients are water, tomato paste, celery juice, pepper juice, vinegar, carrot juice concentrate, sea salt, potassium chloride, salt, onion juice, vitamin C, dill juice, carrot juice, parsley juice, natural flavors and spices.

The Mott's Veggie Blend contains three servings of vegetable per container and is a source of potassium. Three servings equals 1.5 cups of vegetables.

The vegetable blend juice isn't too thick or thin. It's a nice smooth consistency and it's easy to drink. It's the same consistency as V8 Vegetable Juice.

As for nutrition, there are 90 calories in a 14 ounce serving of Mott's Veggie Blend. The drink is filling and worth the 90 calories. There is one gram of fat in the Mott's Veggie Blend as well as 0 mg cholesterol, 790 mg of sodium, 1240 mg of potassium. The vegetable juice has 15 grams of carbohydrates including 4 grams of dietary fiber and nine grams of sugars. Mott's Veggie Blend also has five grams of protein.

The Mott's Veggie Blend costs about $1.39 for a 14 ounce bottle. This is cheaper per ounce than the V8 Vegetable Juice.

Is Mott's Veggie Blend better than V8 Vegetable Juice? I would say that both vegetable juices are close. Mott's Veggie Blend costs less per ounce so I would more than likely go with the less expensive option.

Good review. You covered all the bases and found that a juice just as good as the leading brand cost less without compromising taste or nutrients!
