Review of Mountain Dew White Out

Daisy May
Mountain Dew White Out is sweeping the nation like a storm. Much like the candidates in our electoral system, this new flavor of Mountain Dew went through a process of being voted worthy and separated from the failures. However, public opinion is not always necessarily the same as mine and usually does not sway me from my own opinion, so I tried Mountain Dew White Out for myself. Would I like it enough to drink Mountain Dew White Out frequently?

It is easy enough to see how Mountain Dew White Out got its name. The soda is perfectly white and resembles a thick fog. This unique look makes it very easy to locate in store coolers filled with sodas of orange, red, yellow and brown colors.

The taste of Mountain Dew White Out is spectacular. I expected the taste to be similar in taste to the original Mountain Dew- strong and acidic. However, the bottle promised a smooth citrus taste and that is what was delivered. I really don't know how to describe the taste. It was reminiscent of lemonade but almost with a cream flavor. The Mountain Dew White Out was quite different from what I had expected.

Caffeine lovers will not be disappointed. Mountain Dew White Out is not caffeine free like most clear sodas. Although I don't know for sure, I assume that Mountain Dew White Out contains about the same amount of caffeine as that of the original Mountain Dew.

After trying Mountain Dew White Out for myself, I bought some for the entire family in hopes that they would like it as well as I did. After much persuasion my husband finally tasted it for himself. Although he liked the taste, it wasn't good enough to make him switch from his normal soda brand and flavor. My son on the other hand loved Mountain Dew White Out. Since he was already a huge fan of Mountain Dew products, White Out just became one of his regular flavors.

I would recommend Mountain Dew White Out to anyone looking for a new flavor of soda, even if Mountain Dew isn't on your list of favorite sodas. This flavor is possibly one of this company's best. I hope that it hangs around for a while and does not disappear overnight the way fads tend to. Also, I hope to see Mountain Dew White Out in a diet version soon so that everyone can enjoy the delicious taste.
