There has been a lot of buzz lately about paid surveys. A ton of websites have popped up claiming you can make a barrel load of cash by doing paid surveys. Well honestly, that is a bunch of bunk. You can make a decent sideline income doing paid surveys if you choose the right websites to join. Now you sit and wonder, "Which survey sites are the best to join?"

I have been a member of MySurvey.com for quite some time now and MySurvey is one of my favorites. They send frequent invites to surveys, sometimes as many as 6 per week. The surveys are easy to understand and fun to complete. MySurvey.com is a well established and reputable company.

You ask, "Ok great, now how do I make money with MySurvey and how much"? How you will make money is an easy question to answer. First you must sign up with the company to start receiving invitations to surveys. You can read reviews of other survey companies and sign up here. They will ask for demographic information such as your name, address, age, level of education, etc. You will also be asked for your email address and to create a password. They need your email address to alert you to new surveys you can take. Answer all of the questions honestly. Don't worry about giving out your information, MySurvey respects your privacy with a very comprehensive privacy policy. Your information is used for qualifying and demographic purposes only. Oh yes, and I should mention that sign up is free as it should be with any survey company you sign up with. Never pay to take surveys, if you have to pay then you are likely to be disappointed.

How much money you will make is another frequent question that I have been asked. That just depends on you and what surveys are available. If you are willing to answer all survey invites and you continually give quality, thoughtful answers you will obviously earn more money. Realize that sometimes the survey is looking for a specific respondent such as a 40 year old, married female. If you are not a 40 year old, married female you will not be invited to this survey. I would estimate that I make about $10 - $15 per month at MySurvey. I am a member of other survey companies also so that increases my overall earnings. This is a typical amount to make for doing surveys. Of course some months are better than others.

I especially like how I get paid at MySurvey. When you complete a survey you are rewarded with points. The points have a monetary value and can be redeemed for cash or prizes, the choice is yours. I choose cash since I am not very interested in most of their prizes. They do have some great prizes however. The exchange rate is currently 1000 points for $10. 1000 points seems like a lot but it really isn't. While I get many screener surveys that award 10 - 30 points each, these screeners help me qualify for the bigger surveys and panels that award hundreds of points. I have been awarded as much as 750 points for a single survey. The points will add up surprisingly fast. Make sure you take ever survey offered, even the screeners as these are what qualify you for the big point surveys. A screener is a short survey that takes less than 5 minutes to complete and the points from screeners really helps to increase your earnings. I take on average 2 - 6 screeners per week.

Once you have accumulated enough points you can cash out your points. The minimum cash out level is 1000 points. You will receive a check in 4 - 6 weeks. I don't cash out until I have reached 5000 points or more. It only makes sense to me to get a larger check than to cash out for smaller checks every month.
