Review: Nescafe Classic Instant Coffee Makes the Perfect Cup of Joe
Nescafe Classic is the Perfect Weapon for a Killer Cup of Joe
Nescafe Classic Instant Coffee is Great for Entertaining Guests
Not a coffee drinker? Nescafe Classic instant coffee is perfect for entertaining guests even if you don't like to drink coffee. Imagine hosting a party and asking your guests if they would like something to drink. "I would love a coffee," they might say. Do not disappoint your guests by not having any instant coffee on hand.
I have never been much of a coffee drinker, and likewise I do not own a coffee pot. I'm one of those people who love coffee flavored ice cream, and the smell of coffee, but don't like to actually drink it on a normal basis. I prefer to treat myself to a mocha late every blue moon, as well as the occasional French Vanilla Extra Extra from Dunkin Donuts when I'm in the mood for a breakfast sandwich.
My father, however, is a coffeeholic. If the amount of coffee he drinks on a daily basis was liquor instead, I would have to frantically dial 911 to have him rushed to the hospital, and have his stomach pumped. Within a week his liver would have failed. That is just how much he drinks (and loves) his cup of Joe.
When my dad visited my place for the first time, he was very disappointed that I didn't have any coffee to serve him. It was simply not something I thought about. Naturally, I did not want my dad to be disappointed again, by still not having any coffee on hand for him. The next time I was out grocery shopping, I decided to pick up Nescafe Classic instant coffee.
Preparing Nescafe Classic Instant Coffee
The instructions to "Making The Perfect Cup" of coffee is simple enough. The side of the jar said to "use 1 heaping teaspoon of coffee per cup, pour hot water, stir, and enjoy!"
I found that setting my microwave to two minutes on high power made the water just under boiling temperature. Be careful! Your microwave maybe different so be careful because you can easily burn your fingers on the mug, or worse your tongue on the coffee!
The Results
When my father came over a few weeks later, I made him a mug of coffee using the Nescafe Classic instant coffee. He prefers his coffee black. I served him the coffee, and he told me that it was "delicious". That's right, "delicious." This was coming from a seventy year old that has drunk over four cups of coffee a day over the past fifty years (73000 cups of coffee!). If my dad isn't an authority on coffee then I do not know who is.
I have made myself quite a few cups over the past couple of months when I needed a burst of caffeine to wake myself up early. With a generous portion of milk and sugar, my craving for something warm and sweet was met without paying $4 on my way to work - saving valuable money.
Overall Opinion of Nescafe Classic Instant Coffee
Nescafe Classic instant coffee is an excellent way to be prepared for entertaining guests. There is no need to purchase an expensive coffee maker, nor does one need to make an entire pot when all that is required is one cup. The price was comparable to other brands, and it there is enough instant coffee in the jar to last a few months if you are not a coffeeholic.
