Review of Nike Pegasus

Review of Nike Pegasus For those of you who are runners you know that your shoes are one of the most important parts of your running. If you don't have good shoes, you are more likely to get injured. For those runners who are serious, getting injured from not wearing good enough shoes would be a huge blow. Before buying new running shoes make sure to do your research. Decide how much you want to spend and start there. Always check out the major brands such as Nike, Asics, Sauceny, Brooks, etc. These brands will give you the best cushioning. I personally have run in and owned all 4 brands and like certain components of each. Be sure to replace your shoes every 400-500 miles so they continue to provide enough cushion. Failure to replace them on such a schedule can easily lead to shin splints and over injuries. Also going to a running specialty store will help ensure that you get shoes that are right for you.

For those of you who don't want to break the bank, but want a quality shoe, I would look no further than the Nike Pegasus. These shoes are pretty light in weight compared to other shoes similar to it. You will definitely notice this difference when you go for your first run. Of all the people I know that have tried them, they have always remarked how lightweight they were. The Pegasus also provide adequate cushion for most runners. You do not want too much cushion, because then it will weaken your foot over the course of time, making it more prone to injuries. If you want shoes that look good on your feet, these will probably fit that standard as well. As they are made by Nike, they are usually pretty slick looking. The Pegasus is also pretty inexpensive compared to other shoes. I have run about 1,500 miles myself in various pairs of Pegasus and have always been pleased. I also have a friend who still runs competitively and continues to run solely in Nike Pegasus. If you haven't already, be sure to try them out the next time you visit a store that sells running shoes. You will find that for the money, you will have trouble finding a more lightweight and comfortable shoe that will provide you with the cushion you need to make it through the season injury free.
