I would say that the introduction of the Nikon D2X digital camera is a successor or a continuation of the D2H reflex camera. Although the introduction of the Nikon D2X did not come speedily as expected by many procurers or photographers who were waiting for more improved and advanced camera other than the D2H reflex camera.
Connections of the Nikon D2X Digital Camera
The inside of the two rubber protection lids of the camera feature two holders for the caps, in order to avoid the caps from getting loss. At the back of the rubber there are connections for audio/video, the USB and the DC-in connection. The rubber wraps do not turn aside and when close they shut everything off completely. It is use to prevent water and dust from entry in the Nikon D2X reflex camera. The battery is positioned in the bottom of the handgrip and this holder is also outfitted with a rubber shield.
Rear side of the Nikon D2X Digital Camera
The rear side of the camera features an eventful outlook; a user could barely glimpse through the buttons of the Nikon D2X. The play button is positioned at the top left side, with precisely next to it the recycle bin. The memory card could be deleted very fast if the mode button and the delete buttons on the top of the camera are pressed simultaneously. A procurer could take this into consideration that the rubber ring around the lens can only be detached if the lens is close. The AE/AF lock and AF-ON button are located a bit more to the right. The AF-ON button is used to activate the focus. This is very useful when a procurer is dealing with a moving object. For an example: football match and many more. The Command dial is positioned completely on the right
LCD monitor of the Nikon D2X Digital Camera
The outsize 2.5 inch LCD screen is place in the center, which is cosseted by a separate cap, shielding and see-through. The button/play zoom button, the button for reproduction of thumbnails, security and help button, the menu button and finally a loudspeaker are found in a row. A subsidiary LCD screen is positioned, which permit a user to showcase some digital settings. The sensitivity button, image quality size and white balance and the microphone are placed below in a row. The button to turn on the microphone is positioned so a user can add some comments to photograph, which is placed to the right from the lowest screen. The switch for selecting auto focus areas is positioned above it. Without it costing too much time to open, is a fine and safe security to prevent from accidentally opening the door. On the rear of the Nikon D2X bottom right, there is a second AF-ON button and a second command dial, which come in very useful when snapping vertical portraits.
More Buttons of the Nikon D2X Digital Camera
There are a few more buttons starting on the left on the top of the camera. There is an unlock switch which permit a user to turn the dial for image speed. Some buttons for lock settings and flash sync are positioned on top of the dial. On top of the viewfinder, the standard hot shoe is located. The switch to select light metering and dioptre setting are positioned on the right. The right side is governed by an outsize LCD screen that delivers the shooting settings. The Mode button for exposure programmes and a button for exposure correction are positioned on top of the handgrip. The main switch to activate the camera is found around the release button that is positioned at the front of the Nikon D2X digital reflex camera.
Viewfinder of the Nikon D2X Digital Camera
One thing I found very important that the D2X possesses is that before the camera is entirely activated you can start shooting. There is a great deal of specialization to the position of the main button. I think that the neophyte and experience photographers around the globe would love a camera that with a finger it could be activated and ready to take it first shoot. If a user hold the D2X digital reflex in front of his or her eye to look through the viewfinder, quite a bit of disapproving. This is due to the small size it possesses. I hope the Nikon Company would take this into serious consideration.
Battery of the Nikon D2X Digital Camera
A powerful Lithium Ion battery is used to supply power source to the Nikon D2X digital reflex camera. The life span duration is very high and also compact in size. If fully charged a procurer could snap a lot of shots.
The Nikon D2X digital reflex camera is suitable for procurers who are looking for high quality and user-interface camera.
